菁英的SAT字彙課程使用了一本獨一無二的教材--"Essential Vocabulary for the SAT", 而且老師是SAT滿分保持者Mia老師喔!!字彙絕對是SAT考試裡最重要的一環, 這也是"菁英"最重視的部分
像今天來自New York的Mia老師就一口氣上了100個單字, 而且最後還給了一個小測, 但依我所見同學們都能掌握到學習技巧, 答對率都有九成以上耶!
讓我們來重溫一下今天的上課重點吧!!
有些單字看起來又長又難, 但如果你懂得單字的Root (字根), Prefix(字首), Suffix(字尾), 其實一點都不難喔!!

單字複習
1. colloquial (adj), conversational ; co- (together) + loqu (talk) /
2. insipid (adj), uninteresting, dull ; in- (not) + sapere (taste)
3. mundane (adj), ordinary ; mund (world, common)
4. metamorphosis (n.), a transformation ; meta (change) + morph (form)
5. circumlocution (n.), evasive speech ; circum- (around) + loqu (talk)
另外, Mia 老師也提醒了我們一些額外的東西喔!
1. Speak: followed by language ( I speak Chinese.)
Talk: interaction between two or more (I talk to Peter.)
Say : repeat the word (A: Say "BLUE"; B: "BlUE".)
Tell: one single direction, (I toldl a lie.)
2. I stop to talk => I stop doing something to talk
I stop talking => I was talking just now, but I stop now
