Basic SAT Reading Skills:
1. When you answer any questions, it's all according to the passage and the author, do remember that is NOT according to your opinions

2. It's NOT suggested to read through the passage from line to line, or, to read the questions before you go through the passage, and if you want to get a high scores in reading test, you have to familiar with the questions type

3. You must try your best to enlarge the quantity of the vocabulary, that is the most important thing in the SAT reading test, therefore, read widely besides the text book.

4. If your time is very tight to read through all the passage, SKIM the passage, or, read the heading, pay attention on the heading, it always shows what the passage are talking about

5. Ask yourself when you are reading: "What does the author feel about this issue? Why he/she feel that way? What are those words he/she used to express his/her feeling? Are they negative or positive?"

6. Don't try to reread the passage, don't waste your time
